My phone was ringing off the hook and I was getting mail like crazy. I stopped answering calls with numbers I didn't know and just let them leave messages. Luckily the calls and mail have stopped. Most of them said that the RH gave out my info.

It's probably from THIS website!!!!!!! Change your phone number on your account preferences. I had to do this because right after I signed up I got a million phone calls.

Don't give out your real phone #. As far as e-mails go I created an e-mail account for all this bridal stuff. I only give my real e-mail address to vendors I booked or am interested in. Lead lists for upcoming brides come from many sources. Your RH - they don't sell your info they give it out freely to their preferred vendors, if you booked with them your RH gets a commission. LI Weddings, your registry, bridal shows and believe it or not if you subscribe to a bridal magazine.

if you've gone to a showcase or expo they will call you nonstop
also i think most halls give your number to there vendors.
i made the mistake of putting my real number for when i went to the great bridal expo in the city and they attacked my phone and email like crazy! i felt horrible cause so did one of my BM's and her NEW boyfriend picked up her phone and it was a vendor asking for 'the bride' thank god he was cool about it some guys would see that as a red flag and freak out lol

i havent put my number anywhere!! Just to the halls. and i have never gone to a bridal show. 4 new calls today. LEAVE ME ALONE!!!! :)
