make-up ?

I have a stupid question. What is the difference between airbrush and traditional makeup? I know its the way its applied, but is there a difference?

the only difference is that airbrush make up goes on much much finer so it catchers all the nooks and cranies in the face.
the foundation is the only part that is applied with the airbrush gun to leave the skin looking flawless. its the same type of make up used in both cases but the applications is different. Im my experience, since the airbrush goes on so fine and into the skin in uch small particals it lasts longer. I have had it done 3 times.

Most of this statement is correct except I disagree with that airbrushing can only be done with foundation. My makeup artist airbrushes the foundation and blush on. I have also heard they can airbrush on the eyeshadow. However, my makeup aritst does not do the eyes. My gf is a makeup artist and has told me that they can do the whole face except for eyeliner and things like that.

For my trial I had airbrushed makeup and I felt it was much lighter than traditional makeup. I have had both done for weddings and I am going with the airbrushing. It also lasts longer and gives you better coverage. I have trial pics in my album from my airbrushing trial if you are interested.
