hello Ladies, Wondering what you think, I never wear make up, maybe if im feeling a little crazy some lip gloss or something like that! But anyway On my wedding day i dont want to wear any, i dont want to look like some stranger walking down the aisle. Im getting married in July, I get really tan and i love when i look all summery. Do you think i HAVE to wear make up like everyone is telling me.
I just notice all of you booking amke up artists and wondering if i should do that soon. I would appreciate any advice or if any of you are in the same boat as me. 'Thanks and happy planning Vanessa

Re: Make Up advice
You may want to wear 'some' makeup. Just a little bit. Go get a trial done with a makeup artisit and see what you think. You never know you may love what they do and want it for the wedding.

I would have to say that you will probably need a little makeup...for the pictures to look good. A little mascara, blush and lipstick can go a long way. I would suggest going to one of the makeup counters at the mall...and letting them show you. Bring a camera...and post some pics!

I don't wear makeup usually either, but I don't always come out well in pics. I booked Elena from Bridal Touch. I explained how I felt and she gave me a very natural look. It looked like I had some lipstick and just a little eye makeup just to be extra special. Other than that, you could barely tell. The right professional will give you the exact look you want. Go for trials and see who you like. Good luck.

I agree, I think you should have some on for the pics.

My MOH never used to wear makeup, but she did for her wedding. She looks SO beautiful in all the pictures!

Re: Make Up advice
I'm like you. But I agree with the others - for pictures, you want to be even.
I recently started wearing a tinted moisturizer (Bobbi Brown) and I love it. It moisturizes while evening out my skin tones (they're pretty even naturally, but this just finishes it off I think). It's light and unnoticeable.
ETA: I met with Jacqueline Nicole and showed her pics of what I was looking for, what my dress looks like...I explained how I don't wear makeup really and she did a PHENOMENAL job with how I pictured I would look. Very natural - just like me, only accentuated. She's excellent and I highly recommend giving her a call - she's a vendor on here.
Good luck with your decisions!

I think you should wear some makeup, lipstick , blush and some eyeshadow and mascara to accent yourself in the pictures....
