Make-up and hair

Just curious, how much are people paying to get their hair and makeup done? Together or separate.

Also, what's the earliest that somone is/has offered to come? Would it be comletely unreasonable if I wanted to start taking pictures at 8?

My mother is concerned that we're pushing it with the time and we won't be able to get anyone there that early.

AFter much debate I decided to save a lot of money and actually go to the salon to get my hair $65 and make up $45 done...If they would have come to my house hair would've been $150 and make-up $125....the salon is 5 min from my house, plus my bridesmaids appreciate the savings immensely!

for me day of is 200 hair and 150 makeup.

That seems a bit early for pics, Im not sure tho.

many will come very early to your house, some even around 6am.

I still have a while to figure out the time but my thoughts were:

8:30-9:30ish -pictures with bridesmaids and my family at my parents house (mostly weather permiting) This is why everything needs to be done by then.

10-11:30ish pictures at RH with FH and the rest of the bridal party

We have our ketubah (marriage license) signing at 11:30-12 which is a private ceremony and you're married then. Then the ceremony for the rest of the family/friends is after that.

We want to try and get the majority of the pictures done before the wedding starts, this time we have time to spend with our guests.

My hair is $80 and my make-up is $100. And they're coming to my house at 5am, yes 5am. We've gotta be out of the house at 9:30 to get to the RH by 10 to take pics.

At least i'm not the only one My mother looked at me like I was completely nuts and that that was too early to start things.

I guess I should just put a note up in the vendor section to find out. I just wanted to get others info as well.
