My friend is getting married in November and I am a BM...she procrastinated and still doesn't have a place for make up and hair the day of. She never really got into this site so I told her I would ask all you pro's out there! Any recommendations of hair and/or make up in the Syosset area? Either at the salon or coming to the house...either way. Any input is appreciated!!!

If lots of places are booked up, try Raves Salon in Plainview.
Joan is really good at hair, she was doing someone's while I was in there last week. I would ask for her. . . . there is a girl that does make-up too. I can't remember her name, but I've seen her do make-up before, and she does a nice job.
I'm sure there are other places you would want to look first, but they do a nice job there and she can probably still get an appointment.
I would also tell her to look at Sam Jon's. Ask for Maria

You should try posting this on Vendor's Helping Brides and see if any make up / hair people for that day respond that may have had cancellations....

I went to Salon ID in Syosset. when I was BM this past summer They did a great job for hair and make-up. The price for an updo was around $65. I'd definitly try them.
