Make-up and Hair...does anyone want to search for someone to do this for me? I am SO not into this!

Make-up and Hair...does anyone want to search for someone to do this for me? I am SO not into this!

I CANNOT for the LIFE OF ME get into this whole process of finding someone to do my make-up and hair for the wedding. I definitely need someone to do both, but when I go to research them, I procrastinate and don't want to do it. Anyone want to steer me in the right direction? I just can't see paying all the money for a bunch of trials ontop of payng for the day of. Call me cheap, because I guess I am at this point And Jacqueline Nicole is booked for my day. I called her because she did my girlfriend's make-up. I kind of gave up after she said she was booked. HELP ME!

I am less than 2 months away and still hae no one for hair. I am so not into finding someone either

I'll be honest. I was in the same boat as you. I went for a MAKEUP trial and HATED IT! She put so much makeup on me (I don't wear much to begin with) my eyes started to tear it was terrible. THEN....I went to Macy's CLinique counter and they did my face up natural and DIDN'T charge me ANYTHING!!! Turns out I'm having the lady come to my house for the wedding because I just loved what she did to my face but my point is, you don't have to spend thousands of dollars on trials if you don't want to. GL

If you don't mind me asking, how much is she charging day of? Which Macy's did you go to? I thought about trying that--I really don't want to waste that much $ on trials only to have makeup I don't even like!

I went to my derma., and started chemical peels which reduce pores and shine, and he also gave me a prescription to cut down on shine (I am shiny in every pic!)...

You girls should try calling Jackie @ I Make Up You. She is a vendor on here and I found her very good. She can also recommend someone for her named Carmella.

Oksana's number is on her website, definitely call her...she's so sweet and does amazing work.. She's doing my make-up on Saturday for my wedding..

Interesting, since my wedding is a week after yours and she told me that she wouldn't even book a trial with me until the middle of July and to contact her then . . . yet your friend is getting married July 3rd and she is already booked

I was stressing over this as well
I just booked trials this week
thursday w/ Dina from Beautiful Possibilities(make up only)
and Pauline from Sepcial Touch on friday (make up & hair)

I will make sure to post pics...

I got the feeling she just didn't want to come all the way to Riverhead. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't blame her
