How far in advance do you have to book someone? I already know who I want to use (she did my make up when I was in my friend's wedding 2 years ago). I don't know when I should contact her.

I'm booking right now which is about 8 months before...according the the planner i have they say book hair/makeup 8 months in advance
ooh if you know for sure who you are choosing, book now! one less thing!

I actually do know - I was in my friend's wedding 2 years ago and this woman did our makeup then and she was fantastic. I emailer her so I'm going to see how far in advance she takes bookings.
