I don't know much about Charles, but I'd stay away from Shara. I had semi-permanent lashes put on there last week as a trial for my wedding and she did such a horrible job. I had to go back the day after because a few fell off -- mind you they are supposed to last 2 weeks. The glue was all clumped, it was terrible. I looked like I had spiders on my eyes!

my hair dresser recommended him.. said his work is great but personality - eh.... thanks for sharing about her in case they try to send her my way!

One eye I didn't feel. The other one I felt like I had something sitting on my eye. From what I've heard, when lashes are put on properly you don't really feel them. When I went back to get my lashes fixed Charles was there. He seemed a little b!tchy, but if his work is good, who cares, right?

i don't know anything about charles, but here's my opinion----you want everyone surrounding you on your wedding day to be NICE people. if this guy is notorious for having an attitude, do you really want to be walking on eggshells on the day of wedding for fear of insulting the makeup artist??? NO! what if you don't like something he does and you want him to change it? is he going to give you a hard time?there are plenty of other highly recommended makeup artists on this site that are incredibly sweet. try oksana- i'm using her and she's great....and very nice!

i know both Charles and Shara. My friend used to work at Nubest with Charles and used him for her wedding. Personally I did not like the way he did her makeup. He did my makeup once for a different occasion and i wasn't thrilled. Although I've never really seen Shara's work so I cannot comment on her but SHANNON is another makeup artist at Nubest and she is amazing. She did my makeup along with the other bridesmaids for my friend's wedding and our makeup came out so nice.

At first it feels VERY strange.....but after a while, once the glue settles, you don't even know you're wearing them! I LOVE the look of them!
