make up concern...

make up concern...

so i absolutely LOOOOVED my trials and wouldnt go with anyone else.. although im having some second thoughts on the foundation.. i know that sounds so silly but i NEVER EVER wear foundation and when she used it in the trial i felt like i couldnt move my face.. when i got home i actually had a few streak marks on my forehead cuz i wiped my face.. to me that means theres way too much on. She said you have to wear a little more so that it looks good in pics and stuff and that totally makes sense but id rather have less and not have to worry about touching my face.. its going to be JUNE im going to sweat and im worried that i maybe have marks on my face if i wipe the sweat.. PLEASE HELP ME! what do i do? do i ask for another trial and try with out so much foundation? What do i tell her? i also felt like i have that dreaded make up line where your chin meets your neck and i really dont want that..

TIA im just really unsure of what to do. i def. want to continue to use her just would like something a little less.

You definitely don't want to have that make up line...you dont want to stress out about these things so definitely bring it up to her and ask for another trial

she's really good with listening to what you want..so i would ask her for a little less foundation..when i went for my trial it looked very smooth and natural..so i don't see why she couldn't do that for you! p.s. meg you looked gorgeous regardless so i don't think you have anything to worry about..but if it puts you at ease definately do another trial

I would just explain that it didnt feel comfortable for you to wear all that foundation and ask if she can go a little lighter on it next time. My FSIL is that same way and didnt wear any foundation on her wedding day and her pics were stunning, so dont worry about it.

i don't really see the makeup line in the pics...and it looks very natural. It looks like you have great skin to begin with...you could ask her to go lighter. I actually wore sheer foundation because i hate that cakey feeling and I didn't really need too much coverage. It felt like nothing on the day of.

Maybe she can try and airbrushed foundation. Im looking into airbrush makeup for that reason.

thats what i want as well but i know she said she only uses the one type of foundation.. i too really dont need to much coverage.. and would feel much more comfy with sheer.

the trial was extremely natrual and my mom said she didnt even notice what i was talking about. so maybe im just stressing for no reason.

Was it airbrushed? Or regular foundation? I hate foundation and for my trial she did airbrush and I didn't even feel it on my face.

Yea I have the same issues with foundation it is so itchy and looks caked on which is why I don't wear it. The airbrush foundation went on so nicely and I totally forgot I was wearing makeup. Not sure about Oksana I am using M I A.

Megan,
Im just like you and NEvER wear foundation! Having it on the day of my wedding was a big concern for me too. I thought I'd look like I had clown face lol
I'd suggest that you have her do one more trial if you can, ask her to either put on a little less or make sure that she uses some powder to set it well.
My makeup aritist sprayed me with a setting spray and I swear my foundation didnt budge all night!! And let me tell me..I cried and touched my face all day...no smudges or smears! Ask her about something like that...it might solve your problem!!
