I went for a few make-up trials and i'm having a difficult time. Most of these places pile the make-up on and i feel like I'm wrapped in cellophane waiting for my face to melt off! I find the layers so comfortable. I want to feel beautiful on my wedding day not wanting to wash my face the whole day. The layers make me afraid it's going to wipe off on my grooms and with each guest that kisses my check. I feel like they're going to feel the layers when the kiss me! I can't! I wear make-up every day and never have i felt so uncomfortable! Does anyone have any suggestions??

chrisy from christy ann cosmetics - she is amazing and really listens to you and makes you feel sooo comfortable, she's such a sweetheart

Def try Andrea from Lolalovesmakeup. I had the same exact issue when looking for make-up artists and had 2 bad trials with two seperate make-up artists. After I walked out of both trials I felt like a clown with the amount of make-up they put on me.
Then I met with Andrea told her what I wanted and she did it exactly the way I asked. Her prices are very reasonable (i think a trial is $35, so you can't go wrong). Good luck.

Check out Sally Duvall! I had the same issue with makeup and hated that everything felt so thick, especially on my eyes. Sally does airbrush but it's really light.
I would also second Andrea from lola loves makeup. I had a trial with her and she uses traditional makeup and it was excellant and didn't feel caked on at all.

try sachiko yanese...I dont wear alot of makeup if any and I told her I dont like the look of alot of makeup either..I felt so beautiful on my wedding and not too made it. Loved her!!!

try Makeup By Marisa... we used her for my sisters wedding too and we ALL loved our makeup... def didnt feel too heavy at all! You def should NOT feel that way on your wedding day!! Good Luck! HTH!

I was just going to say that, sh is located really close to the Fox Hollow & I don't let anyone else do my makeup but Christy was so amazing that I booked her on the spot. She did a trial for my E-Pics & I loved her (pics in albums)
