I'm finally taking mine this week & I will be doing my own make up. My wedding day MU artist told me not to use coverups that contain SPF. She said that there is something in SPF that becomes reflective when there's flash photography, causing your skin to look like there are light spots or whitish blotches on your skin.

I got my makeup done. Unfortunately, not by the girl I'm using for my wedding.

I did my own, but I think having a makeup trial on the day of your shoot is a great idea!

I went to work that morning and left early... walked over to Saks to have my makeup done by a lady at the MAC counter (professionally done) and then went to take my Epics at Central Park.
I had already previously done my makeup trial with Mia and booked her, but I didn't really have time to head out to LI for another trial and make it back in time for Epics, so I just had it done at Saks. Came out nice (lol, but not as nice as my trial with my MU artist for the wedding).
