Make up HELP

Make up HELP

I don't have anyone to do my makeup yet. I contacted some of the recommended vendors on here but think the prices are crazy. I also don't know if I will meet some of the minimums required. I know myself and MOB are definite. Can anyone suggest someone they know or are using (that isn't a vendor on here). I live in Suffolk.

I know an artist that is great and charges a flat fee of $50 plus addt'l $10 for false lashes. Just noticed on her business card that she also does airbrush but I am not sure her rate for that. FM if you want her contact info,

How soon do you need to do makeup trials? A year in advanced?

Re: Make up HELP

You definitely need to try Donna from Divine Artistry. She is outstanding and reasonably priced. I went on so many different trials with the most popular vendors but I was so unhappy. Donna exceded my expectations. You have no idea how talented she is. I am so happy and cant wait for her to do my makeup on saturday!! :)

Make up HELP

This was my post, my wedding was on 7/7. When looking I couldn't meet the minimums of most of the MU artists so I decided to go with a rec from another bride on this site without doing a trial. I figured that I had nothing to worry about because this is what they do for a living-boy was I wrong. I looked like a clown and the more she tried to fix it, it was just worse... I tried to fix it as much as I could but since I had to put on my dress and get to the church I had to live with my makeup as it was. Please no one make the mistake I did and GET A TRIAL.
