Ok, please excuse my ignorance here but what is the difference between regular make up and airbrushing?

Re: Make up Question
airbrushing stays on longer (I heard you can sleep with it and it's there the next day). another reason people use it is to cover up blemishes.

Re: Make up Question
airbrushing is when the foundation is applied with a small spray gun type machine. It goes on very light and feels like a mist.
Traditional is using your regular foundation with a sponge / brush

Re: Make up Question
I had both done and think that the airbrushing really made my skin look flawless (and it really isnt).

Re: Make up Question
Airbrushing!! It looked so much more natural than the foundation being applied by hand

I didn't have airbrushing at my trial. I am going with traditional makeup. Jillian does such an AMAZING job!

Re: Make up Question
I had both done and preferred airbrushing-thats what I did the day of. It went on much lighter and gave my skin a nice glow.
Im sure if the makeup artist is talented enough they can achieve the same result with traditional makeup though.

Re: Make up Question
I had traditional and it was so smooth and light it felt like air. If the artist is talented enough, she can achieve the same results with a brush, her hands and a sponge.

I agree! my makeup stylist uses mineral makeup which is very light! I didn't even know I was wearing it and it lasted all day. even at a backyard BBQ on the 4th of July
