How far in advance did you all book your make-up for your wedding? I am getting married in November and wonder when a good time would be to start trials. And did you do a few trials, then go with the person you liked best? Who did you use? Thanks!

Re: Make-up question
If you have time, you could do it now, but you don't have to. Some of the make up artists the girls on here are using book very quickly, ie Jillian from Gorgeous Faces and Jacqueline Nicole - so you might want to call them soon for trials. Good Luck!
Oh, I'm using Jillian - the trial was great!

Thanks! I am looking into those two. You are using Jovon right? Who are you using there?

Re: Make-up question
I booked JN about a year in advance. I went for my trial a month after I got engaged and booked her on the spot. She books up really quick so I didn't want to miss out.

Re: Make-up question
Since I'm getting married in a very unpopular month, i only booked my hair and make-up about 4 months in advance... I got really nervous when I read how early everyone was booking these two vendors... but thankfully Jackie and her hairdresser partner, Vanessa wasn't booked...
I would suggest booking them now. Better safe than sorry! Plus it's one last thing to worry about later on...

Re: Make-up question
I was really sad to find out that JN was booked for my date 8 months in advance, so the sooner the better!
