I am helping a friend find a makeup artist for her wedding
Please let me know who you are using/used, if it was airbrush or regular, and approxmate cost.

I'm doing my own, but I'm going to go out and buy all new makeup and do trials at home so it will cost me whatever the makeup costs.
I get really creeped out when people touch my face, so getting my makeup done is a no no.

I had both my hair and make up done at Tapestry Salon in Centereach. I think the make up was $65. No airbrush but I loved what she did. Here's a pic from my trial:

I used Karen Wiyosaki- I think it was $150 and it was airbrush- I liked my trial a little better than the day of- but my mom and sister's make-up looked great

hey jenna makeup & hair was something i was adamant about...i went on a few trials that cost anywhere from $40 - $85... i ended up going w/M*i*a who yes, is on the pricier side but to me was worth every penny. I booked her back in '06 & i know that her prices have definetly changed, so recent brides could give u a more accurate figure.. I did airbrush with her but i know she also offers traditional, and mineral as well now. good luck to ur friend!

I used fresh face forward
50 for the makeup trial.
150 for day of makeup with airbrushing but you can opt for no airbrushing
They also do hair for the same price

Trials to me are not worth doing a ton. You get one good person and than you don't have to go all over.
My guy was the best. FM me if you want the price. it was over your buget on the poll.
I have some other reccomendations but they are all the island.
Tell your friend to try MAC at the mall too.

ur makeup looked beautiful! Jenna - i would say this price range is about average for the bride.

I had my hair and makeup done by Cocobelle a vendor here - they were awesome- they were at my sil house early and had us all finished up in time for a 9 am wedding!!! great to work with and priced well!!
I used Oksana...$150 for day of She was great, loved my makeup and so did my BP and MIL. I also had a great trial with Karen Wysoki (mentioned previously)-she can do both airbrush and traditional....one of my friends used her and she looked beautiful on her day

I'm using CoCoBelle. They do airbrushing as well as mineral based makeup. The trial was $75 and I believe the day of is $150 and then extra if you want airbrushing.
Here are pics of my hair and makeup from them. The pictures are pretty bad because they were taken with a cell phone so the coloring of the makeup didn't really come out, but it looked much better in person! I told them that I wanted a soft and natural look.
