Make up trail questions

Make up trail questions

I am searching for a make up artist. what questions should I ask them upfront? This is what i have come up with so far:

*How much do you charge for a trial?
*How much would you charge to do the make-up the day of the wedding-
bride, mother of the bride, mother in law, maid of honor, 2 bridesmaids
*If I book with you does the payment for the trial get credited towards the wedding?
*Would you come to the hotel the day of the wedding?
*Would you be able to come to the reception hall to freshen up the make up before the ceremoney ( we are taking pictures before the ceremony)?
*Would I be required to purchase a certain amount of make up from you?

Am I missing anything??

-Make sure your date is available
-Cancellation policy
-Any discounts for BM's
-Ask if an Asst. would be coming to help. That way you will be prepared to tip her the day of.

Check our Zoraida from Kholouds Beauty. I had my second mu tril with her this past sat for my dramatic look with my indian wear and it was really awesme.

Also, ask them if they charge a travel fee.

Sounds good. make sure you get a written contract.

I would add what the additional fees are for the touch-up? since you indicated you want your make-up to be freshen before the ceremony. Also, the required deposit once you decide to book with them? Make sure you get everything in writing, this is really important! The contract should include the number of BM's, family members as well as yourself with the time the artist will arrive to your venue and listing the services/pkg the artist will be doing and departure from the venue (time they leave) as well as any add'l overtime/hrs. so there's no misunderstanding btwn both parties. Once the fees for the add'l hrs. (touch-up) are agreed, make sure the artist includes that on her contract. Just be careful about the deposit upfront, some artist don't give a refund once you decide not to book with them.
