I called to book a make up trial with a make up artist that everyone on here raves about. Well she informed me there would be a $50 travel fee because I am in suffolk county. If you are a 'LI'weddings vendor and someone lives on 'LI' shouldn't the price be the same across the board? Thats alot of money ontop of the costs of the makeup, don't you think?

i do have to agree with you on this one. the amount of money that is charged for makup is insane! i do not think a travel fee should be added. if you are willing to travel to your clients then you ahouldn't charge extra if you live further away.
