Make-up trial

I had my makeup trial today with Jackie from IMakeup You and I was very impressed. She really made my eyes stand out, which I need because I wear glasses. When I got home my fiance said I looked really great,without my even asking him, so that means it went really well!!! I'm glad that I booked her. If you need a makeup person she's the one to call.

I loved them both! Jackie is wonderful and Margaret did a great job too! I came home and FI was very impressed!! They are definatly the way to go!

Leyann what time were you there?

There was someone there for a trial right before me and then right after me. I am wondering if either one of them was you. My appointment was for 11:30 but was a little late because Jackie was with someone else. I saw that person when they were done and she looked beautiful so if that was you...WOW!!!

No, that wasnt me :( but I was there about 1pm. I didnt see anyone with Jackie. Actually I ended up with Margaret first because Jackie needed a break from a busy morning :) I probably just missed you! They really did a wonderful job, I am so pleased. We ended up going out to the movies (just where I wanted to go looking good hehe) and dinner and wow...the looks from other guys-FI was getting jealous but he told me it was nice too- felt like he was a 'prize' winner. He actually said that he would like me to buy some of her makeup and learn how to do it. Usually I just throw on a minimum of makeup and dont care about 'lining my eyes' with 3 different colors, but with the compliments I got last night... Are you going for a facial with her? I wish I had know about her a few months ago-I would have given the bms a gift of a facial from her. I have to say I am so glad Elena didnt work out (she might have been wonderful too) but I am thrilled with them. Sorry so long but I am so excited!!

Im using both Margaret and Jackie too. Are you going to the salon or haveing them come to your house. Im thinking about the house but cant figure out where they would work. What are you two doing?

They are coming to my house. Since my wedding is at noon and we are having pictures done before the ceremony I need all the time I can get. Since it takes about 25 minutes for me to get to Massapequa and then back it is just easier for them to come to me. We will be in my kitchen. It has adjustable lighting so we should be okay.

I got done around 12:15 and there was someone else waiting when I left. Jackie is a busy lady. We never talked about the facial, but I did buy a lot of the makeup that she used. The colors were really good...now if I can just put it on like she did!!!! The facial did sound nice though. I have never had one. I have really sensitive skin though so I might be before off without one. I am glad that your trial went well also.

Hi! They are both coming to the place where I'm getting married at. I'll be getting ready there, so it is much easier to have both of them there, rather than us (my mom and I) traveling to them.

They are coming to me. I am in N Babylon and since Jackies in W Islip and Margaret is in Massapequa, it easier for everyone. They are coming about 6:45 am because we have to be at the place by 9:30! Yuck!

I have very sensitive skin too. I know the feeling. We are doing a 'trial' facial in 2 weeks and she will be very gentle. If it looks good, she will do one 2 weeks before the wedding also. I like how she did the makeup and all so I will give it a shot : )

Small World - I will be in N.Babylon at my parents house. We need to be ready at 3:00 for the photographer so we wont be rushed. I am a little worried about Friday afternoon traffic so it might be better if we have them come to us.
