So I got a free make-up trial last night with Clinique. I love their stuff and it's the only make-up I will wear, but I don't know the girl was a spazz!!! Let me know what you girls think?
The first is pre-make up. What a scary picture!!! Lighting in department stores is terrible!!!
You look beautiful! The colors she used look very pretty on you!

I really think she did a great job but I am not sure if it is enough to really standout in the pictures and perhaps last all day. It looks very subdued IMHO.

I agree, it looks like great 'night out' or every day make-up, but I don't think it stands out enough for a wedding. I do agree that the colors complement you well.

I think you have beautiful blue eyes and you should accentuate them more. Maybe use more contrasty colors on the eyes.
Its nice, but I agree that its more of an everyday look.

Re: Make-Up Trial Last NIght
I know what you are saying about the drastic, but I hate lots of make-up. It just looks so fake. I know I don't want any foundation or anything because (if I must say so...) I have great skin (knock on wood). It is one of the things I love the most, so I don't want to hide it. But if I go really crazy on my eyes, won't it look silly? Help me

Same with me. Your make up should make a statement on your wedding day.

I agree too. I really like the way she did your eyes, but I'm not sure about the lipstick. It looks very pink. But I'm not really a pink lipstick person, so I guess it's nice if you like pink.

I think its very pretty but I think you need something a little more bold....maybe a lipstick color?

Re: Make-Up Trial Last NIght
I love the colors she used (but Im a little partial b/c i did the same kind of colors on My day)... is that lipstick 'silver pink'??? if so, i used the same one
Everyone says that your make up should be bold on your wedding day, and it definately makes sense... But i tried the 'bold' look, and i Hated having THAT much make up on me, and seriously, if youre not comfortable on your wedding day, then i dont think its worth it just for the sake of being 'bold' JMHO (but i also Rarely wear makeup, so that too contributed to me not wanting to get too extreme)
ETA- if i were gonna change anything, the only thing i'd add is a little bit of a darker liner just along the top lid).. but i Love your colors and think they look really nice on you

Re: Make-Up Trial Last NIght
Thank you ladies. The lip color is actually just liner with some lip gloss. This may sound strange but the taste of lipstick makes me nasiatied (sp). ANyway, thanks ladies. I think I might try again at another Clinique.

Re: Make-Up Trial Last NIght
I don't like the make-up and actually prefer your before photo. There's too much pink going on for my liking. Your eyes are stunning, but she did nothing to accent them. I'd add some liner, change the shadow color, and change the lipstick color.
You're so pretty without make-up. The make-up should enhance your features and I don't think it does. Here's a trick: if you're sensitive to the taste of lipstick and plan to use a gloss on your wedding day, buy your own. As far as I'm concerned, gloss is gloss. Go to a drug store and grab one of the flavored glosses. Voila! Problem solved. You'll only taste the flavor you selected :)

Anyone heard of GK Entertainment?
I've never posted before, but have enjoyed and appreciated all of the great information on these boards...so..thanks. Question: Has anyone ever heard of GK Entertainment?
I made a cardinal no-no in wedding planning and trusted my future in-laws and fiance to take care of the music. He's greek, I'm italian...we decided on a greek band for greek music and a dj for everything else. BUT the dj had to be preferably someone the band knew so there would be little competition and they could coordinate more easily. I'm getting married 6/5/05 and haven't heard the @!*%$# dj yet! I'm so pissed and scared! Please help if you can. Thanks a million.
