OHH no! I'm so sorry! Maybe it was just the product she use. Hopefully that won't happen again!

sounds like you are allergic to the products. What kind of makeup do you normally wear? Maybe you have to use certain products?

It's funny b/c I have never had any problems wearing make up before and when I had my trial for my e-pics I have someone new do my make-up and I felt like my face couldn't breathe. I didn't even have a lot of mak-up on but I was sweatky, oily and gross an hour or two after. I guess skin reacts differently to different brands of make-up. It is great we have trials!

I had one woman make me look like a clown. She used airbrushing and you could see every crease in my face!!! It was so caked on. My fake eyelashes didn't even last an hour. I even had them stuck to my forehead!!!! LOL!!

I know that my eye teared a lot when I had my makeup trial but the makeup still stayed on.
Go for a MAC trial and see how that goes! Good luck!

I would def try MAC and since you use their makeup you can buy the colors they would apply so that they arent using old makeup....especially if you're sensitive to makeup.

Good Luck!!

So sorry this happened to you!
You don't have an obligation to tell her anything. It's called a trial for that reason...just don't book her. I have very sensitive skin too and allergies so I made sure the makeup artists were using MAC.

Was she using sterile utensils?

When I had my makeup done for prom, they used sterile mascara applicators that never went in the tube after it was used on my lashes. If she had to reapply more mascara, she used a new wand, never double dipped. When I got my makeup done elsewhere for my sister's wedding, all the makeup was old and the utensils weren't sterile. Used a nasty tube of mascara that who knows who it had been used on before. When I finally realized he was double-dipping the wand, it was too late. Luckily my eyes didnt act up, surprising because I'm very prone to conjunctivitis from my contacts. I was so scared all day!

Definitely make sure when you book your next trial, wherever it is, that you ask about the utensils used, especially since you've had a reaction.

It sounds strange but did she use a sponge to apply the foundation or moisturizer? My sister doesnt have very sensitive skin and someone used a makeup sponge to apply makeup to her face...her entire face swelled up and she had the same tearing problem and her eyelids blew up. Even though it was a new sponge it turns out my sister was allergic to the type of latex used in the sponge. Go figure!!

You should use whatever make-up you normally use but in the colors she was using... Maybe that would help...

awww...soo sorry...I wouldn't do anything yet. Go for another trial and explained to her what happened. Maybe she has special products for you and then see what happens.
