Make Up Trial question

Hi Girls,

Is it ok if I bring my own eye shadow to the make up trial...I have been on 2 so far and I love the girl, but I just don't like the eye shadow colors that she has...they are frosty and I want a matte shade. Do you think it would be rude if I bring mine with me?

Thanks!

Ehh. Well.....When I go out, I always take a little makeup bag with me with my eyelash curler, some powder, and lipgloss. Maybe you could bring your eyeshadow in a little makeup bag like this but just keep it to yourself, as if you always do that (who knows, maybe you do, I dunno). If she does your makeup and you dont like it for whatever reason, just tell her you want to show her the shade you always use and love and that you happen to have it in your makeup bag with you and ask if she could try that shade.

I don't think it's rude at all. I brought my own foundation to mine. I have SUPER oily skin and there are only a select few foundations that don't make me break out. My makeup artist had no problem with that at all. As long as you don't say 'I hate your eyeshadows, they s*uck!' you should be fine If you love the makeup artist and you love the way she applies your makeup, then just let her know the truth. I don't think she will have a problem with it.

I love the way she applies it, just not a fan of the colors. And don't get me wrong, it looked pretty, but just not me!! Thank you so much for your advice! I really appreciate it!
