Make-up Trial Question

I know this has probably been asked a million times, but I did a search and couldn't find anything.

Are you supposed to tip when you have a make-up trial?

TIA girls!!

I did. Just because she drove to me and she tried 2 different looks on me.

I did because they came to my house--drove about 40 miles. I gave them a 20% tip

Yes def. Worked in a salon, they are still taking time out of their schedule to work on you

I honestly didn't b/c they are self employed. I mean, I will tip on the wedding day (unless they show up an hour late or something). For the trial, I just figured that if they needed more $$, they can just charge me more for a trial. But like I said, I will tip on the wedding day.

It's not necessary for trials if they own their own businesses. I did tip on the day of though for mine because I was happy with the makeup and service
