Make-up Trial ?'s

Happy 2014! This year came so fast and now I am in panic mode of all the things that I need to get done.

I need to start doing hair and makeup trials... and I don't know where to start. I want simple makeup but professional. I am having a morning ceremony and afternoon reception. I am leaving it up to my 4 bridesmaids if they want to get theirs done as well. Any suggestions?

When getting the trial did you go by yourself or bring someone?

i went with my mom to my first trial (that i didn't end up booking). FH took me to my second one, but waited in the car.

I used Christy Ann cosmetics (and I'm obsessed with them!

) and I brought people that would also be getting their makeup done by her. This was one of the best pieces of advice I'd gotten. You want to make sure you all vibe and mesh well so it's super important you see if your makeup artist/bridesmaids or mom are a good match. You will all be spending a lot of time together on the day of your wedding so you want to make sure it's a good fit for all!!!

Haha he was afraid to come in at first but I convinced him. He ended up knowing the family the makeup artist was married into. Small world.
