Does anyone else get really scared and nervous when going on hair and make up trials?? I dread going to them because I have issues with being assertive and telling them when I don't like something....it's like torture for me to go to these appointments.

Sweetie, you are going to be just fine, I would recommend bringing a few photos, a tiara or a headband if you are wearing one and maybe even your earrings and necklace. Also Makeup pictures if you can. Make sure you have some ideas of what you invision your hair and makeup to look like, Makeup artists and hair dressers are all so friendly, so please dont be afraid to tell them what you do and dont want, thats why you are going to them, so they can give you the look you desire. Its going to be fun and before you start, just describe to the makeup artist as well the look you are trying to achieve, glamerous, natural, exotic, hair up, hair down, half up/half down. You are going to have so much fun.........I understand the nerves though, I still get them too. Good luck and be sure to let us know how it went, they usually take some pictures for you....

Thank you so much for the pep talk! LOL...I needed it! I just have to make sure that I speak up and tell her what I do and don't want...gosh, it's so hard for me, I hate it! HAHAHA.

Oh, Your welcome, no problem at all.......... Thats why its so cool to bring some pictures, it makes it a lot easier, this way they can see what you want if you know what I mean. Did you look around for any pictures yet. If you need some do a search, there is a ton of them on this site that Im sure you will love.

Yeah...I found some pics I like and I'm also going to bring pics of what I don't like...I guess that will make things easier. I like the make up that the Pronovias model wears...do you know what I'm talking about?

I always get nervous because I'm not assertive when it comes to that stuff at all! I'm going on one this weekend too. This time I'm going to bring pictures-I didn't last time and that was my biggest mistake. The makeup artisit told I friend (and it got back to me) that she did not understand what I really wanted.
