Make up trial - Tip?

Hi ladies,

it's been a WHILE. I'm having my make up trial done on Sunday, how much am I supposed to tip her? It's $150 and she's coming to my house. LMK..and hope everything is going well for everyone!

$150 for a trial? Wow! Mine was only $40 with Sandra Baldini. I tipped $10.

Although it is not required to tip, I know as a makeup artist myself, it is always appreciated and remembered! A little goes a long way!

My makeup trial was $150 and I tipped her $50.

My hair trial was $250 and I tipped her $50 as well.

I didn't think it was reasonable to go any higher than that for a trial tip.

My makeup trial is $60 and I plan on tipping 18-20% like if I went to a normal salon for a regular service.
