make-up trial today ....

had my first make up trial today ... i think i'm being overly critical. i think it's partly the lip color, which we couldn't seem to get right. i also have fake lashes on, which i think need to go. they are bothering me and i won't be able to stand this the entire day of my wedding. i think i need the individually placed ones.

sigh. i'm having a day.

I always recommend the individual lashes to my clients! SOOO much more comfortable! Natural looking, but still with a pop! I think the eyes are pretty - the lip color looks nice too, but you have plenty of time to figure out a new color if you want! You could always go back for a second trial!

I think you look so pretty! But yes, don't settle for anything until you're happy. I wasn't sure of the lip color used at my trial as well, but I went back to my MUA for my engagement shoot makeup, and used a different color that I loved! My MUA also said that if I come across a color I like, I could buy it and she would apply that color for me on the day of.

I think you look beautiful! Dont settle for something you dont like though. My mom got her make up done for my sister's wedding and although she looked beautiful, she didn't look like herself. You look great in the picture but you are the one who has to look at the pictures the rest of your life!

thanks ladies!!! i think i was just getting really discouraged yesterday because i absolutely LOVED my make up for my engagement photos, but this was pretty different. I am definitely going to make an appointment for another trial with someone else and just keep going until i find the perfect look. thanks for the encouragement!
