Make Up Trial with Pics - Maureen Pedala

had a productive day today - make up trial, wedding bands and headpiece i'll start with make up trial photos - maureen was a sweetheart:

right after the trial in a dark hallway with flash:

in the car with flash:

in the car with no flash:

opinions? maureen was great but still not 100% sure yet....i like how it photographs but not sure if im crazy about how the eyeshadow looked in natural lighting during the day - its a shade i never wore before - it was almost like a pink or purple/gray if that makes any sense

Your makeup trial looks great and you look so pretty!!! I think the colors that Maureen used look really nice on you. But if you feel more comfortable with browns, then maybe do another trial with her like you were thinking because you def want a look that you like and feel comfortable with. But I think no matter which colors you end up using, you're going to look fantastic!

thanks! i dont usually wear make up but when i do i wear eyeliner and lots of mascara - so that i am used to (and i love smokey drama eyes!) - but im not really used to wearing eyeshadow - if i do happen to wear shadow its usually more natural in color (more plain colors i guess ) so even though the shadow she used was really soft it didnt really feel like 'me' because ive never worn those colors before but otherwise i was happy- my FH really liked it a lot which is good - he is really picky ....

Did you tell her you wanted a smoky, dramatic look?

you look beautiful..but I really do love the brown more...though I must say you could go without make-up and still look stunning!

You look stunning in all the pics with either of the makeup artist.

I personally like the softness of Maureen's colors.... But you have to have that feeling when you see yourself. If you don't maybe try a couple more artists....

I was thinking of using Maureen, but not sure what her work looks like on darker complexions....

well i thought i brought photos with me from magazines and of the make up Chris did for me but i forget everything! i am such an idiot - so i pretty much told her to do whatever - i actually told her not to do brown b/c i thought i might like something else better but it turns out, that i like the brown better

i havent seen anyone on here use her that had darker skin tones but i think there may be some pics on her website

i see you are getting married at the pleasant dale chateau - i am so jealous - that place is spectacular!!

the pictures of you in the car are BEAUTIFUL! you are glowing! the ones of you in the dark ally are a lil dark but i still think the make up looks great lol

Aww. All right, so then it's not that you asked her to go with a certain look and she did the opposite. You just need to be more specific then and tell her what you really want. I think she'll get the look you want. You're such a naturally pretty girl, it won't be hard.

Do a search...you'll find a lot of pictures. I think SoVic08 has an olive complexion and her trial came out amazing!

thanks ladies - does anyone have a good picture of carmen electra's wedding make up? when she married dave navarro? all the pics i come across are small and hard to see - but it looks like it may be more earthy tones with dark around the eye....

Cool= I checked out her site- I think I will have to just do a trial when the time comes.

I was am fortunate to be able to book there. I just hope its everything everyone says it it is and what I am dreaming of!!

But I just went to Jericho Terrace - and was take back- I thought it was beautiful! If I only had known....I may have booked there instead! So Kudos to you
