Make-up Trials

Hey! Im getting married in 78 days 7 hours and 39 minutes according to this clock thingy on this website haha. anyways, i just joined today and am thinking of starting my makeup trials. Is it too early to start?

Who do you all reccommend in terms of makeup artists?

Congrats and welcome!!! You are by no means starting too early! I've seen girls on the '08 boards already go for trials AND book! I'm having my first trial tomorrow and my wedding is in 230 days

I've heard great things about the following makeup artists:

Mia from BridalLounge (www. bridal lounge . com but take out the spaces)
Jacqueline Nicole of Pretty Me
Jackie of I Makeup You
Khouloud's Beauty
Claudia Pedala
The Rock Sisters

Most of these are vendors on LIW (go to the Vendors page and click on Makeup for their contact info). Good luck!

Not early at all.

My makeup person was the first vendor I booked, outside of East Wind!

I had my first trial with Oksana in March of last year and I just had my 2nd trial with Oksana this past week (pictures are in my profile)

Oksana is great!!

I highly recommend Anne DeMarco from Madison Salon and Spa in Woodbury. My trial pics are in my album. If you are interested in her, send me a FM and I will give you her info.

I'm getting married the day before you and I just did my hair and make-up trials this week. I met with Oksana and Jen the Hair Genie. I don't know if they're still available for the 13th, but email them (they're both vendors on this site)...oh and my pictures from my trial are in my album if you want to see the kind of work they do.
