Hi ladies! I have had one trial so far at a hair salon that I was NOT a fan of - I actually had to put some concealer on a small blemish when I got home that she missed! After that ordeal, it made me realize that I need to find someone who strictly does make-up, most frequently for weddings. I have four trials scheduled with the following MUAs:
Sandra Baldini Glam me up (hair and make-up) Jesella Beauty Glam me up down the aisle (hair and make-up)
Do you have any opinions on these make-up artists? I feel like I am going overboard on trials now but I'm so nervous after disliking my first one. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I had a makeup trial with Kelly from Glam me up and I really liked her but she paired me up for a hair trial with a lady and did not like how she did my hair at all. I showed her a picture and she totally bombed it. I felt like she was stuck in the 80's with all the hairspray she was using. There are pics in my album. My second trial was with Christina Amador (makeup) and Randi Ross (hair) and I loved the way they made me up and wound up booking both of them. There are pics in my album of that trial also.

I booked Christina Amador too! Loved her and booked on the spot- Still figuring out hair though because I havent decided if I would rather go to a salon nearby for hair or have them come to my house. It'll be hot and the AC will be pumping in the house and I'm worried that all of the hair things plugged in will cause a power outage hahah

You should try Randi Ross, Christina referred her to me and they work together a lot.

yeah she referred me to her as well. I wasn't sure if I want someone coming to the house though. Still haven't officially decided yet

I loved Kelly from Glam Me Up for makeup. She was so nice and she did a great job. I didn't have a hair trial with them, strictly makeup. She listened to what I wanted, did a great job covering up the dark circles under my eyes (which I'm super self conscious about) and she was in the price range I wanted for me and my BM's. I scheduled my trial for my engagement shoot...photos are in my album if you want to see. I wanted a really natural look for these pictures and then I'll have something a little more dramatic for the wedding and I'm confident Kelly will nail that too. Sandra Baldini would've been my next trial if I hadn't loved Kelly so much. Good luck!
