Make up trials on the weekends? Update

Has anyone done a makeup trial on a weekend? I want to schedule one before e-pics in a couple of weeks but feel like most will be busy with weddings? Just had this thought because recently realized DJ's don't make appointments fri-sunday either...

If you know of a MUA that does trials on saturdays...please let me know!

just booked kelly from glam me up for aug 7th
She got back to me within minutes and trials cost $25 fyi.

I wouldn't say any MUA would against doing a trial on the weekend but you have to think that's when they have most of their business. They probably wouldn't even have time to fit in a trial, you know what I mean?

yeah that's what I think too...but I really want professional makeup for pictures! I guess I'll just have to call around alot

yeah that's what I think too...but I really want professional makeup for pictures! I guess I'll just have to call around alot

99% will do it as long as they arent booked.. they can prob even squeeze you in if they are.. just call them all!

I had a professional makeup trial on a sunday. I did the hair and makeup trials before my engagement party. if i was spending all that money i wanted to go somewhere and not just home to watch tv.

I used Karen Loree. She came in special for me on a Sunday. She is awesome and so sweet! She works on celebs too :) She is in Plainview...

check out www.beautymakeupartistry.com i had mine done last saturday for my engagement shoot..arienne is so nice and her prices are great..

i have pics posted in my album..the only downfall is she doesn't have airbrush but with the products she uses i don't think you can tell the difference

I booked two trials and they are for weekends... they will squeeze you in. I am going to see Jacqueline Nicole and Danielle M.

I also saw Cleo Vitale on a weekend and it was fine.

I would say almost every MUA would do a trial on the weekend. Most girls I know get a trial on a night when they have somewhere to go so they get use out of it. Especially if it's engagement makeup it won't be as much make up as a wedding trial. Call Maximus of Westbury (516) 222-8880. Ask for Yvonne she is the bridal coordinator there. She is one of my good friends. I used to work there and I still go there for everything. They have a new location on Old Country Road and it's like you walked into a salon in Soho. Their make up applications are $50. But I'm not sure if it's different for trials now.
