MAKE-UP ... very disappointing :forlorn:

Hello Ladies,,

I live in the Bronx (closer to Westchester), but am getting married and having my reception in LI (which is where my FH lives). I tried to book a trial with Jacquelyn Nicole (sp?), and she said that she doesn't travel to the Bronx.

I was wondering if someone has ever used Clarin Cohen, and what was your experience. If you have photos that you would like to share, that would most appreciated.

Also, if you have recommendations, please do share.

I am using Denise from Angel Eyes (a vendor on here). Even though she lives in Huntington, LI, she will travel anywhere at no extra charge. I went for my trail and loved and her. If you would like to see my trail pics, let me know.

I'm using Clarin Cohen for my April wedding. I don't have any pictures to share unfortunately.

I think she does fabulous work and she's a lovely person.

Try Jillian from Georgous faces- she is a vendor on here. I just had a trial with her and she did an amazing job! I didn't have a digital camera so I only have actual photos but I will try to scan them so they can be shared. I've shown the pictures to a bunch of people and they have all commented on how great my makeup looked. I am pretty sure that she will travel.

I'd like to try Clarin Cohen since the trial is free if you go to the counter where she works at. Trials are very costly.

Violet - i had no idea she worked at a counter? Where exactly is she located?

Do you know if she does air-bushing?

I also spoke to Clarin Cohen. She works at the Bobby Brown Counter at Bloomingdales in the Walt Whitman Mall in Huntington. Her trial is free but she charges $175 for makeup on the wedding day. That's more than others charge but it all averages out since you don't have to pay for the trial with her. I'm not sure if she does air brushing- I didn't want that since I don't like the way it looks on me.

I also spoke to Marie Katz from Imakeupyou.com- she is also a vendor on here. She does air brushing. She seemed nice and a lot of people on here like her too.

It's very frustrating trying to get the right person that can help you achieve the right look.

I just couldn't believe JN suggested that she doesn't travel to the Bronx nor did she make any suggestions (i.e.,

I used Clarin Cohen for my wedding last month and I loved her! I had trials with many of the vendors on this site and I was only happy with her. Call me picky She should really be doing makeup for TV, she is so talented.

Besides the fact that she is very talented she uses Bobbi Brown makeup only. The makeup is so natural.

She is from Brooklyn and I'm sure she would have no problem traveling to the Bronx.

She works at the Bobbi brown counter at Bloomingdales in the Walt Whitman mall. If you call her and get your trial at the counter it is free. Yes, she charges $175 but she was well worth it. I gave her more than that on my wedding day because I was so happy with her.

I don't have my proofs yet but I will have them next week and I will post some pictures.
