I have a trial all set for Saturday (Fresh Face Forward) for a hair and make-up trial. The trial is $100 ($50 for each)
Ok 2 questions for you ladies...
1. Should I move the date to sometime in the next month or so when i have something else to go to(my friend's shower is April 25) so the $100 won't be a complete waste?
2. Does your make-up artist or hair person apply the trial cost to your day of??
THANKS!!!!

yes i think you should get some use outta your trial and move the date
no, they dont apply that to your day of cost, thats usually strictly the cost of the trial only which 50 and 50 is realllllly good

Re: Make-up/Hair Trial
I agree with Joanna. Definitely wait until you have something to go to. I'm doing my trials on the day of my nephew's communion.
And no, they don't apply it to the day of. Two separate costs.

Re: Make-up/Hair Trial
I don't have anything big coming up, besides my shower, which of course I have no idea when it is - or my friends shower - but that would make me pretty over done...
Would I be crazy to do the trials a week before my wedding when I have another friend's wedding and basically book these girls without a trial until then???

Re: Make-up/Hair Trial
If you don't have anywhere in particular that you need your hair done for, I would just get it done even for a night out??
I wouldn't wait until a week before the wedding for a trial. I feel like it will be way too hectic and too many things going on for you to worry about finding a style that you like so close to your wedding.

Re: Make-up/Hair Trial
Definitely do for your Birthday! I had a trial this past Saturday and it was such a waste b/c of the rain! Granted I booked her but still, use it when you can show it off!

Re: Make-up/Hair Trial
you should ask if they apply the trial fee towards the day of. I had 1 make up artist tell me they do but i also found what they did was hike up the price of the day of by the amount they were charging me for my trial.

Re: Make-up/Hair Trial
i would be nervous to do a trial on the day of something important... what if you hate it? then you have to rush home wash it off and do something yourself? lol if anything, leave yourself some time Just In Case!! JMO though!!! HTH!

Re: Make-up/Hair Trial
My make-up artist applies the cost of the trial to the day-of cost... you should check with them directly.
