Makeup

I'm thinking of having another makeup trial b/c I'm not 100% comfortable w/my current situation. I have insanely sensitive skin... blah blah blah my eyes swell shut blah blah blah anaphlaxlsis, blah blah blah... any suggestions?

Don't really know what you are looking for but she does traditional makeup (meaning not airburshed). Both of my sisters have pretty sensitive skin due to some pretty bad acne and she did a wonderful job on them and as far as I know they didn't have any problems.

I personally loved her!!

hmmm i saw a post somewhere on here the other day and a girl got a trial done with mineral make up... it looked nice.... maybe that would be better for you??

I swear i had 2 trials with her and each time it felt like i had nothing on my face

Nadine at Allure Skin Care Salon in Deer Park uses Jane Iredale cosmetics. It's all-natural as well, maybe try her? 631-586-2745.

She's also a licensed aesthetician so is familiar with all skin types...

She's in the process of booking a trial w/someone who has the same date as me, so I won't know if she's avail until the other bride either cancels or decides not to use her

Yes, I was going to... but its a freelance sort of thing, and I'm not comfortable with not having a reliable contract, etc, and I'm not sure that one girl is going to be able to do my entire BP & my mom... so I'm shopping around. Plus, I'm not uqite sure that mineral makeup is 'strong' enough to last all day?

i totally get that. I love bare minerals but i wasn't going to wear it the day of for that reason...

i had trials with M I A, Kacey (khoulouds), and Stacey from Fresh Face Forward. I booked the last one. they all do airbrush but with sensitive skin I'm not sure if i'd go that route...

maybe FM jtgarsik from 07. She works at a bare escentuals in one of the malls... she might have some good advice.

I had Mia for my Bpics on Saturday~ she brings a team with her so you don't have to worry about not getting everyone done. Plus she's an artist. It's almost like watching someone paint: she gets close then steps back for a better look, then changes something. Plus, you can tell she loves her job: she gets like this angelic look on her face when she does your make-up.
