I am debating if I want regular makeup or airbrush makeup. I hear good & bad about both. Tell me what you are going with and why.
TIA

Re: *Makeup*
airbrush. BUt this will also depend on your skintype and what works best for you. Do you have oily or dry skin?

Re: *Makeup*
i had a trial with both & the airbrush stayed on over 12 hours till I finally washed it off.. my only complaint was that it was a little cakey in certain areas- like under my nose & around my mouth but the make-up artist said it was probably dry skin & suggested that I moisturize heavily the day of the wedding hth

I have combination skin. I was originally leaning towards airbrush b/c I hear it lasts so long & you never have to touch it up, only lipgloss. BUT then I heard regular makeup has more coverage?? So now I am confused!! lol

youre not supposed to moisturize the day of the wedding if youre doing airbrush ONLY if its water-based. The problem some ppl have with airbrush and why you seem some girls who dont like it is that if an artist uses an oil based airbrush it will streak but even more so IF you have oily skin. Well you said you have dry skin but moisturizers have oils in them so you will be putting oil on top of oil. Do you know if she used water-based or oil based. The oil based is heavier so probably why it looked cakey, i would ask her bc if thats the case youre not even supposed to use even soap with any oils in it. Sorry just telling you this bc heard of a couple bad stories of girls using airbrush and their make up streaking badly

i had ALOT of coverage with airbrush. Infact i had 2 HUGE zits the day of my trial and in my trials you cant even see that i have any zits. Pics in my album. Well if you have combo then either or will actually be ok.

Yes definitely do, just saying it bc i would hate for your make up to smear. I read all this before i went for mine and thank god bc i would've done the same lol. But this one site for professionals to ask questions about airbrush, it was so many make up artists and they were all talking about problems they were having, such as someones face streaking horribly, or other things to and sometimes if the MU doesnt do the settings right it can apply wrong. One big thing was the oil factor. It was the makers answering questions and giving advice. Then i asked my MU artist tons of questions about this so only reason i know. If its water based though you should be good. However if she says its oil based, maybe suggest water based so it would be less cakey
