My brother is getting married in 4 weeks and I'm not sure if I should have my makeup airbrushed or applied regular. Any suggestions on what is better and why? cause i really have no idea! Thank you!

most of the time airbrush looks very cakey- at least from what I have seen. I didn't like it in real life but you have to try it out and see- maybe it was just my skin. Surprisingly I didn't like it on my friend either (and she has that perfect velvety type skin).
I think for some airbrush works well and for others it doesn't, you really have to try it on your own skin to see which is better for you.

Re: Makeup
I second Bride 2 Be. I had a trial with airbrush and I felt especially oily. I am doing another trial where half of my face is airbrushed again and the other half is traditional... This way I can truly compare and contrast.

Re: Makeup
I thought I would like the airbrush but I really thought the non airbrushed looked better on me. More of a dewy look. if that makes sense. The airbrush was dry looking. The only way to know is to try it

Re: Makeup
Airbrush looked so good on me, and I barely felt it on my face. It lasted forever and I have pretty smooth, but discolored skin so maybe thats why I loved the look
It might have been the makeup artist, she did amazing makeup overall, and she actually cleansed and moisturized my face before she applied makeup even though I said I already did. I love that kind of care. She was dirt cheap too, FM me for info.( I called her recently and told her I didn't like the hair she did but loved the makeup, she said shed do another hair trial for me for free. )
Regular makeup, well I had 3 non-airbrush trials, look horrible on me and they never could match my color right, I either look too gray or like I have a fake orange tan.
The last 2 makeup artists used mineral based makeup. I hated it, even though it was hypoallergenic it make me want to itch my face and touch it. And it made my tiny crowsfeet look like alligator claws. It felt cakey and messy and gross.
I used mineral powders every day in small amounts it doesn't bother me. So I don't understand what the heck is in that stuff they use thats so uch!
Airbrush just looked so amazing. My FH still talks about that trial... he didn't say anything about the rest of them. He doesn't say much about anything wedding/style related!. It was that good.

Re: Makeup
I like regular hand applied better. When I did airbrushing it took two seconds. I like when they do it themselves better, they are more precise and I feel like it pops more in pics!

Re: Makeup
I did both and I honestly didn't notice a difference between the two (except for in price). I don't have a preference for one over the other, it just so happens that the make up artist I booked doesn't do airbrush.

Re: Makeup
I had airbrush for my eng. party. it came out great! My makeup artist works at fox 5. She only uses airbrush for the newscasters.
Airbrush makes your face look so clean and smooth. I was getting tons of compliments.

I like the idea of doing both on your face at the same time! I think I might try that to see what looks best on me

Airbrush, it stays on longer and will not sweat off
