How much is everyone paying for makeup trials and day of make up?
And are you doing regular makeup or air brushing? Is one better than the other?

it was $25 for a trial. $150 the day of, and she's doing my make up & my moms (mob are free with bride booking).
We used only the Bare Minerals make up which has the same effect as air brushing without the greasy or heavy mess.

I am going to be doing traditional makeup. I asked my MUA which she preferred and she explained the difference and felt for me traditional would be a better way to go.
The trial was $30 and I'm paying $100 for the day of. We had to leave 50% deposit down when we booked.

My trial is $50, and my day of will be $100
I am doing traditional makeup. If I compare the two, I usually like airbrushing better. However, I am using Oksana, and she doesnt do airbrushing, but her makeup looks flawless like it was airbrushed.

Never did a trial, but it was $90 for my make-up for the day. With another MUA it was $100. Both were well worth it!
ETA: I used Sandra Baldini for the day of and Stacy Doolan of About Face Artistry for our TTD shoot.

I'm paying $50 for my trial - but it's at MAC so I'm actually buying $50 worth of make up and a 'free' trial. Day of is $185 A lot, I know, but I like her and I know she's worth it and she's got some major credentials.

Sandra Baldini is the best! $90 day of the trial was $30
I am doing regular makeup with her. I thought i would want airbrush but she did an amazing job i didnt even feel like i had makeup on I highly recommend contacting her FM if you want more info

I'm doing airbrush. Didn't do a trial, but it'll be $150 day of. The only reason I'm doing airbrush is because my ceremony is outside and I don't want to sweat my makeup off.

I have a contract waiting to be signed by me for M*I*A She only uses airbrush, I have my pics in my album. If anyone wants her info fm me. I'm a little hesitant, even tho SHE is really good. I want to see what regular makeup looks like. I seem to be paying more than what others are

I actually went for my makeup trial tonight and booked w/ Kelly from Glam Me Up. She is great and soooo very nice! I loved her work as soon as I looked in the mirror.
The trial is $25 and day of $125

I have had trials at $30, $75, & $100. My day of will be $150 and it will be airbrush.

I'm using Charles from ROUGE STUDIO in nyc and getting airbrush! Was actually kinda anti-airbrush up until the trial...it was AMAZING..I seriously did NOT feel it and it lasted from 11am through the evening..literally until I went to sleep.
Also, they are doing lashes for all of the girls. Its PRICEY but I was desperate as I procrastinated too long and all of the popular LI ladies (Oksana, Stacy Doolan, etc) were booked. Check out their site and reviews.
