MAKEUP

is anyone asking that their BMs get their makeup done professionally? I think I am asking them to get their hair done but for the price that makeup costs I don't know if it is appropriate to ask them that especially since I am not paying for it. What are you girls doing about hair and makeup for the BMs?

do any of the girls know how to do makeup...it does not have to be professional quality but even if they know how to do a little something it would work. sephora gives samples, so the girls can go get a professional quality foundation sample and use it on the day of the wedding.

I am making them all get hair and makeup done....I am paying for about 1/3 of it, and was able to get the price for them to $120 for both hair and makeup with tip (I'm paying the difference)

No, I didn't ask them to get it done professionally. My sister wanted to, so she did, but everyone else did their own or had a friend do it. They all looked beautiful regardless.

I'm leaving it all up to my girls ... Some are choosing one, both, or even none ...

not asking them to i will leave it to them to decide what they do

as far as hair myself and two of my bm use the same hair person who will be doing are hair and moh may use her too. not sure who my other bm is using

great thing is my hair girl will be at my wedding

i'm doing a package so we are all getting our hair and makeup done together but if i wasnt doing that i wouldnt require them to get their makeup done professionally. It cost a ton and wearing make up should be their choice (hopefully they chose not to wear blue eyeshadow!!! )

I think that they have to be comfortable with how they look....so if someone never ever wears makup, they may feel weird being asked to wear it.....just my opinion......

I think i will let them choose, makeup i can always fix myself if they do it bad but hair is a must.

I didn't make anyone get her hair or makeup done professionally. A couple of girls got their hair done, but everyone did her own makeup (including myself).

I'm not sure what I want them to do yet. I'm thinking about possibly splitting the cost if makeup with them and if they want to get their hair done, then can. I feel like everyone in my BP will get their hair done though.

I let them do what they wanted, gave them the option to get their hair and makeup done with me - they declined.

they all looked beautiful.

Im letting all my bm's choose what they would like to do with their hair and make up.. some can do their hair really beautifully on their own. I personally just feel bad forcing them to do something they might not be financially stable for (even hair can get pricey). So I leave the choice up to them- They are all gorgeous either way!!
