makeup advice....

FMIL originally said she would get hair and makeup done when i sent out an email a few months ago. Now i sent out another email to confirm who wants what so that I can make the timeline with my vendors and FMIL wants her hair done but NOT her makeup!

My first reaction was oh well shes the one that will look back on pics and regret not getting it done (and trust me she will regret it - ok maybe thats a mean comment lol)...but now FH is thinking should we offer to pay for it as a gift? but imo that would be an insult...

what would you do?

i didnt question it - we have a terrible relationship so if i responded with why the change of heart on the makeup she would take it as an insult. my guess though is that it is money. her orignal emai to me said she will take both because she is 'impaired in both areas'...which is a true statement.

i have to believe it is bc of money (she has been giving us a hard time about A LOT of financial stuff) but she didnt come out and say that in her response to me.
