Starting to look into Makeup artists for the big day. How much is normal to pay these people. Some of these prices seem just plain crazy! Any referals you gals have would be great also!

My makeup artist is around $100-150 including the trial (I'm getting it as a gift so not 100% of the exact price), but she's very reasonable and does awesome work! A sample of my trial is in my album.

When I used her, the trial was $35 (cheap compared to other MUA) and it was $125 on the day of--airbrush was $150.
eta: I booked her in 2009 so I'm not sure if her prices have changed since then. She's AWESOME

Ive seen them vary from $50 to $125 its crazy but the better the MUA the better the makeup.
I love Oksana and if she wasnt booked on my day I would have booked her on the spot.

I have my trial next week with Sandra Baldini - she is fabulous and very reasonable

completely agree, andrea was not only very talented but great to work with. all my girls were able to pick however they wanted their make up, and while they each had different looks, she managed to keep them all in the same vein make up wise and everyone looked amazing.even the moms had nothing but compliments! lol

Yep! Her prices are still the same. I had my trial with her, $35 (and she airbrushed), $50 deposit and then $60 for MOB and my airbrush with lashes is $150. She's very sweet, talented and is very responsive, etc.

Sandra Baldini or Stacy Doolan of About Face Artistry. Both are excellent! Sandra Baldini did my wedding make-up, Stacy Doolan did my TTD make-up.

I'm using Kelly from Glam Me Up, my trial was 40 and the day of for me is 125 and for BM is 75. I love her, she is such a sweetheart! ETA she does airbrush and it includies fakie eyelashes if you want them!
