Ok I am having a friend do my makeup for my wedding b/c well she is a makeup artist on the side but she also works with me and she is doing it for free... But I want to give her a nice gift at least. How Much do Makeup artists cost?????? or how much did you pay to have your makeup done??? she does a beautiful job but she also does my makeup EVERYTIME I have an event to go to so I don't want to be cheap b/c she never takes money from me.....
I would think a $40-50 tip would be appropriate.
My makeup is costing $150 for airbrush. I have heard ranges from $100-300 on here for wedding day makeup - depending on what type of makeup you get (regular vs. airbrush) and who is doing it. HTH!
No airbrushing and I bought all the makeup....
My makeup artist charged about $75 per person.
