Makeup artist bummer

Ok so i called Oksana and come to find out she dosent do airbrush makeup :( I think airbrush makes it look more smooth and it gives that 'photoshop' look. I dont know if I should still book with her knowing she dosent do it?... Also, i contacted Lolalovesmakeup based on the reviews from LIW, and she told me that because I live in Brooklyn she will not travel to me the day of my wedding (WTH?) and she said if she did, that it would be really expensive...

I dont want to book with M** because she is too much $$ IMO... now im kind of stuck! :( ugh
I was looking for someone that dosent charge an arm and a leg, does hair+makeup(or works with someone),travels to me day of, and does airbrush! loool

i would highly recommend still doing a trial with oksana.

i was the same way in that i had to have airbrush...i only realized she didnt do airbrush until after i scheduled the trial but bc i heard such great things about her i still went. I just had the trial yesterday and I loved her!!! the make up felt really light and stayed on all day!! I am def booking her.

I hear nice things about Sachiko Yanase. She does hair and makeup and lives in Astoria. I think she charges $550 for 6 services. So you can do 3 hair and 3 makeup or 4 hair and 2 makeup, etc.

I did a trial with Oksana and really liked her. I actually prefer to have one person do hair and another do makeup for time reasons.

Jennifer w/ MAC is awesome!!!! I am super particular about my makeup and she did an awesome job. I got complements the entire night of my brother's wedding!! She honestly did a phenomenal job and I plan to use her for my engagement party and wedding. She will come to you also- which is a huge plus. FM if you want more info or to see a pic of my makeup from the wedding.

No airbrush - but it still looks fantastic

I know a great MUA but she doesn't do hair.
