Makeup Artist - Message deleted!

I had posted a message yesterday about a makeup artist that we used for my sisters wedding on Saturday, but it was deleted. It was under the 'Great Makeup Artist and other Vendors' posted by Denise51201.' Anyway, her name is Maryanne Morrison and she lives in Greenlawn, but will travel. She was really nice and accomadates to YOUR nedds and wants. She is the makeup artist for FOX 5 and has worked w/ many celebrities. I know someone asked me for her number yesterday, but since it was deleted I don`t know who it was. Please let me know and I will be happy to get the number for you.

I was going to ask the same thing...a few of my messages have been deleted! I guess someone thinks the messages should be censored!!

LI Weddings moderates this board, deleting any vendor postings and also deleting rude, sarcastic or just plain nasty postings that don't add to the converstation. There were some pretty nasty arguments about 8 months ago - it's much nicer this way. I think, however, if they delete a message that has responses attached, the responses also disappear, so that may be why some non-offensive posts have disappeared.

Well, my messages were not rude or offensive at all. There was a problem about Lexi/Amanda soliciting her services on this board. However the orginal 2 messages that people did complain about are still there. Who knows? The message that I posted about the makeup artist was deleted as well. It`s too bad, but I guess if 1 message in the thread goes then several of them are taken with them. I will post the makeup artists # when I get it from my mom.

Quinn - you're right, it wasn't offensive..

However, the fights from last year all tended to be about vendors soliciting, and whether or not their 'helpful' comments were considered solicitaions. LI Weddings may have taken note of your comments, gotten rid of the Lexi / Amanda postings and just deleted yours since they took action and felt that the 'problem' had been taken care of.
