Makeup artistry long island- also posted in 2012 brides

NEW makeup artistry long island

My friend used them for her makeup and recommended them to me for hair and makeup. I'm booked with them for Jan 7th for a hair and makeup trial, which costs $125. Is that too much? We haven't met in person yet and she doesn't have my cc information, so I was thinkijg about cancelling, as I don't have a car and she lives east and north by Huntington Harbor.

all the trials I have been seeing or around 45. There were a couple around 75 but 25 goes towards the day of if you book with them. 125 for a trial seems a bit much.

My makeup trial was 35 and hair trial was 50, but from what I can tell those were on the cheaper side as far as trials go. I have definitely seen $50 makeup trials and $75 hair trials, so the $125 doesn't seem to be terrible to get a trial for both. You have the recommendation from a friend, have you actually seen their work at all? I think if you find positive reviews/pictures of their work that you like and think it's a possibility that you would use them for your wedding (will they travel to you for the day-of?), it's worth a shot. If you just aren't too excited to work with them or feel semi-obligated to have a trial because your friend recommended them, then I would say skip it and find someone you like and have a real shot at using.

my trial for makeup and hair is 150 each

I canceled my appt. Did you book with Sandra Baldini? $30 is a great price! Any hair recommendations?
