makeup done at MAC or Clinique...with poll

I am looking into if for my eparty...

do yu think it is worth it OR do it myself and save the money...

I cant decide!!!!!!!

I think if you do it at clnique it is free. I say go for it, but I say go for clinique, MAC tends to go a little crazy with color

I was leaning towards Clinique since that is the makeup I use everyday...but thought maybe I;d go somewhere else....

However...

my MOH had hers done at MAC once and she didnt want to buy anything....the girl left her with one eye completed only!! I COULDNT BELIEVE IT! then when my MOH told asked if she was going to finish, she gave her a attitude!

WOW sounds like nothing has changed since when i worked at the counters in 1999-2000

I worked for Estee Lauder, wich 7 years ago was old lady makeup, almost all my customers were older women, the pigment in the colors were not great either, But I remember those MAC girls like it was yesterday, they were the rudest beotches, who thought their SHIITT didnt stink...i always got customers who came to me complaining how rude and obnoxious they were....

I worked in bloomingdales in Roosevelt Field...Keep in mind, MAC rented space so those girls were not ruled by Federated Department stores, they MADE alot more money and were able to wear what they wanted, including open toe shoes, which bloomies employees were not allowed to do this.

Personally I love CHANEL makeup, its all i use, and have used it since Highschool.
They will do your makeup and not require you to buy anything, but you will fall in love with the makeup and want to buy everything!!!

I went to the Estee Lauder counter at the mall near me in NJ and got my makeup done there for free. She didn't try to push me into buying anything and even asked me what colors I'd be wearing so that she could try to match them! I thought it was totally worth it. I felt pampered and didn't have to pay a thing!!
