do many girls get their makeup done for e-pics? and if so, can anyone recommend someone that can do it on short notice (pics are Tuesday) and that is is Suffolk county? :) TIA girls!!!

I don't know anyone but I know some girls go for hair/make up trials before the e-pics so they are all done up.
What about just going to a salon near your house or the mall and going to the MAC counter?

I was going to say the same thing...maybe go to Macys or Sephora or Nordstrom....they'll do it for you. You might just have to buy a lipgloss or somethng.

This is what I was going to suggest.
Also, if you have someone in mind that you want for the wedding, maybe contact them- there is a chance they may be available for a trial on Tuesday.

thats what I did.. there is a girl right by my house that i jstu left a message with that does makeup. my friend also suggested the MAC counter and she said u jsut buy $60 worth of stuff... but are they good at those counters? I am afraid of looking like a clown! lol Should I get my hair done too? ugh.. why do I think about this stuff soo last minute!

i don't know if i would just go to the counter because they may not like your taste and if you don't like the way you come out you still have to pay for the items you have to buy. Elena only charged me $75 for both hair & makeup

I dont blame you...sometime I walk through Macys and look at those girls thinking...who would get their makeup done from someone that puts their makeup on like that??? hahahaha....but I think if you go to the MAC store in the smith haven mall they should be pretty good. they are right across from sephora.

I didn't get mine done for my epics, I just did it myself since I just wanted to look like myself on a normal day, lol. But my mom went to the Mac counter once to get her makeup done. She was just looking for new products to change it up a little, but the girl made her look absolutely AWFUL! So I'd just be careful if you do go to a counter

Maybe do a trial with Lola Loves Makeup, it's only $35, and you can have her tone it down when you're done trial-ing for your epics. She's in Huntington.

Also I'm pretty sure that my salon does both. Meredien in Commack... I can give you the info if you want it!!! I LOVE that place!!

Niquay Fa did my makeup for my e-pics (and my wedding and my sister's wedding). Niquay even did my hair for me for the e-pics.

I did my own makeup for the epics, but teh day befoere I ahd gone to macy's and ahd them teach me how to do it. They did sucha good job that I would actally hire that woman for my wedding. She did a beautiful job. I ended up spending a fortune on the maekup, but I needed all new stuff
