My epics are in a little less than a month. Originally I was just going to have my hair blown out for them, but now I think I really want to get my makeup done as well. We'll be meeting our photog in Central Park. Does anyone know of someplace I can get my makeup done around there?!
I'd love to swing a 'free' makeup application at someplace like Sephora or Saks on 5th (free after purchasing a few makeup items from the counter, right?) but I need your help with recommendations!! heeeelp

you can probably go to any mac counter. You have to purchase at least 5 items I believe.
Also you can check out the macy's counters... clinique, etc. they do that too.

Totally on the same page!... I'm just hoping someone can tell me 'oh you MUST go to Jamie at the Mac counter at Saks'.. know what I mean?

For our E-pics I went to Bloomingdales and had a girl at the Mac counter do my makeup. I didn't have to buy anything but I gave her a tip. I did go in and ask about it before and made an appointment for the day of.

I went to Ulta the other day around here (i'm living in NC now, as most of you know) and they were FABULOUS!
I bet they'd do your makeup for you if you bought something small or even just tipped the girl (i'm not sure if you can there, but it's a thought).
I don't know if there are Ultas on LI, but I liked it so much more than sephora!

Well, you know my whole situation LOL. Are you good with makeup? Because after all was said and done, since I didn't know until the 11th hour if I was taking mine or not on Thursday, I ended up doing my own makeup, and it came out great in the pictures. I'm pretty good at makeup anyways, so I have that luxury/backup plan haha. If you're good and have the right tools/products, I'd say save the money on this one.
