Makeup & Hair for e-pics!

Hey guys, I know these things has been posted a gizzilion times but i couldnt find specific stuff.

I wanted to know how and where you brides got your hair and/or makeup done for e-pics?? Did you DIY?? Go the mall?? Made an appt to get it professoionally done??

And also can you prehaps recommend some places in Queens or Long Island but not further out that Garden City?

I don't want any glamarous, something simple and sweet.

I think Christie's is $35 for regular make-up and $55 for airbrush, I might be a few dollars off.

The place is called Christie's but the make-up artist I used is Lisa, Denise (espo) used agatha and she raved about her too. I've had 4 trials If you're looking for a trial with someone you're going to book with for your wedding I also highly recommend oksana but if it's jut for e-pics then Christie's does great work too. I just got a normal blow out at the salon (nothing different than I usually do) but that way it wouldnt' frizz. I did my own makeup...I just wanted a very casual look so I figured my everyday makeup (just a little heavier) would be perfect. Wedding day is a little different I can be a little more 'done up'.
