Makeup.... In need of help

I am starting to look into a makeup artist for my wedding, I need advice on the below questions.

1. Who do you recommend?? How was your experience?
2. Prices?
3 will they travel to your wedding site?
4. How far in advance should I book this??

I highly recommend Sandra Baldini, who is a vendor her on LIW. She was so reasonably priced and the quality of her work was fantastic. She traveled to the hotel bridal suite the morning of the wedding to do everyone's makeup!

I had my makeup trial a few weeks ago for my e-pics. Christy from Christy ann cosmetics did my makeup!! I loved her and loved my makeup!! The makeup looked great in my e-pics too!! She made me feel very comfortable and listened to what I wanted!!She will travel to you on the day of your wedding! FM me for prices! Im not sure how early to book your makeup artist!!

Spoke to her yesterday and she is a sweetheart!! As soon as I book my photographer and have an engagment shoot date I am going to set up my trial for that day!
Did you do hair brushing?

Noelle I did not get airbrush the day of my epics but I am planning on getting airbrush for my wedding!! I'm so excited for you!! I can't wait to see your pictures!!

Christina11913--did you find a makeup artist yet? I see that you are looking for an artist to travel to SI, I live in Brooklyn, so I would need one to travel to me as well. I figured if you found one to go to SI, they'd prob go to BK as well.

Thanks! She is really so nice and felt so comfortable on the phone with her! I will def. post pics once I go for my trial :)

Cristy Ann actually contacted me today. She said she would travel to BK, so she'll probably travel to SI as well.

I decided I'm going to use 2 different florists--1 for my bouquets and 1 for my centerpieces. I don't want to have to worry about my flowers arriving late or anything. I'm using Shannon's for my bouquets. They're in Brooklyn on Fort Hamilton PKWY by Greenwood Cemetery. My family has been using them for years, plus my sister used them for her wedding. Her wedding was 10 years ago, and i have yet to see a nicer bouquet than what she had. Since my RH is in LI, I'll use a florist out there for my centerpieces.
