My makeup artist tends to think that i need to have a color on my lips to stand out in pictures. I dont like any darker colors on my lips, i like a light gloss or a nude lipstick and accented eyes. Did any of you go with this look on your wedding day or at your trial? If so, do you have pictures ? thanks

i used a little bit of color not too much. I do like how it looks if its a light pinkish gloss in pics and in person. But try both ways and take pics and see whatever you like best

i did put a little bit of color on my lips....but YOU have to be happy! if that's the look u want, then do the look u want & who care what ur artist or anyone else says..she should listen to your vision..after all - it IS your day!
i will say atleast take a picture of each and THEN decide. Because yes, sometimes certain colors just dont photograph well & can wash u out...and if that's the case, u can always throw on the color just for photos(and i'm not talking 'COLOR', i'm talking maybe just a shade deeper then ur natural lip color that gives the illusion of a nude lip or gloss in the photos....am i making sense???) ANYWAYS, no harm in giving both a try & taking some photos. in the end, if the nude gloss is the look u want, THEN TELL HER THAT. she cant really say anything if u make a decision AFTER u've seen both looks. good luck!
