I'm nervous about booking too many trials and spending money needlessly. I really need your opinions about these two vendors...

i never had a trial with oksana but i have heard good things. i booked mia for my wedding, i loved the trial she did for me (airbrush).

I am using Mia and highly recommend her! She does an amazing job no matter what your complexion is like! She also does airbrush makeup that feels like you're wearing NOTHING - a huge plus for me. You can see pics of my trial in my album.
I've seen great trials from Oksana so I don't think you can go wrong with her - but take note that she does not do airbrush makeup at all, just traditional foundation etc.

I had Oksana and on a professional level and personal lever LOVE her.
She is definately some one I'd want helping me prepare the day of our wedding.

Ok I had trials with both of them (pics in my album- trial # 1 is Oksana and #2 is Mia).....I booked Oksana- I absolutely love her!! I actually preferred the way her make up felt on my face over the airbrush make up- Oksana's natural make up just felt like I had nothing on- which is great for me b/c I don't wear a ton of make up. I know a lot of girls prefer airbrush make up, but like Oksana told me you can't necessarily contour facial features as well with airbrush. So for me her make up was better hands down- and her personality is awesome!! I will feel like I'm having a 'girlfriend' do my make up on the morning of, rather than just a vendor.
Honestly you can't go wrong with either, but let me ask you, have you checked whether they are both available for your wedding day? one of them could be booked and then that would solve your problem! HTH! FM me if you have any questions!

Excellent point! They are both VERY popular artists, and both have a wonderful reputation ....
When I was looking a few months ago, lots of makeup artists were already booked up!

I never met with Oksana, but I have to say, from what I've seen - her work is better than Mia's.
I know I'm in the minority with this opinion, but I found Mia's make-up way way way too heavy. I walked out of there feeling like I had an inch of foundation on. It looked great from a far, but up close, it was really cakey and felt terrible. BUT, she did a fantastic job with my hair.
I'm using Maureen Pedala for make-up. She uses airbrush, but it's really light and looks very natural.

I didn't do a trial or anything with Oksana - but I did book Mia for my wedding. She was FANTASTIC!!! There are pics of my trial in my album and there are some wedding pics in there as well. HTH!! Good luck!

I didn't meet with Oksana, but Mia is amazing. So talented and such a nice person. My skin has been breaking out so badly, and the airbrushing covered everything! There are a few pics in my album from the trial.

I have a trial with Mia next week...we'll see. I really love Mia's hair work and wanted to see what she'd do makeup-wise. I don't wear a lot of makeup, don't want to look caked on, baked on and have good skin. I've never used airbrush makeup before so I guess we'll have to see how it goes!!!

I was reading the post, about to respond...when I realized ure wedding date and read this post and thought...oh...THAT'S ME!! Sorry!!! What time is ure ceremony?? I'm guessing it's me anyways!!! I have her all morning...I'm sorry!
